GTA 4 presented us some great looking cars and since the weight of each car mattered, every car felt different when we drove it around Liberty city. It was a lot of fun do the same jump over and over again and get different results.
I should probably not remind you that for some people it was a little frustrating to see Turismo getting off balance and Banshee doing the same turn without a hitch. But for many of us it was delightful addition to GTA Driving.
In GTA 5, we are going to encounter some the best looking cars throughout the retouched San Andreas and if the trailer is any clue, we are going to some weight in action. I agree that it might have been remodeled to make everyone happy but the bottom line is that driving in GTA 5 is going to be amazing.
So, let us get started with this little article about how top 7 cars in GTA 5 will change the course of driving experience in the new San Andreas.
We have already seen the screenshot by Rockstar Games right? So, there is no need to post an old Cheetah. However, if you do want to nitpick between changes then you can go ahead and pop up Google image search.
Anyway, Cheetah has been one of fastest cars around GTA Universe and I first encountered it in GTA Vice City (it was introduced in GTA III before that), since that day, I was kind of attached to that car and I used to go to Parking area near Colonel Cortez’s yacht in Ocean Beach to get a hold of it as soon as I bust my previous Cheetah.
In GTA San Andreas, the car was remodeled to look a lot cleaner and a lot faster. It was really cool to thrown in a couple of nitro boosters and drive it on full speed on those near empty highways and I did that a lot.
In GTA 5 we can see that Cheetah is remodeled again (and I mean completely) and it looks a lot more like a super car. The level of details in the cars is simply amazing in this game and the trailer itself is an example of it.
I hope that realistic looking damage comes back in this game from GTA 4 because one of the reasons that I bought this game in the first place was how the cars would react when they hit something. The damage looked so real that I had to watch my initial videos of GTA 4 again and again to make sure that I wasn’t hallucinating.
Coming to the point, driving in Cheetah once again will bring back lost memories and give us nice feeling.
Ah, the sweet feeling of having an Infernus in GTA IV was amazing. It was a gift from our old friend Bernie and I really liked it. The car was unique and man, it was fast! So, are we going to see faster Infernus in GTA 5? Well, let’s leave that to Rockstar Game’s forum and we’ll discuss about how cool it looks in the image above.
So, we can see that the Infernus holds a Lamborghini and Porsche kind of mark on the hood and that makes it a lot more attractive than without it. Lights and the top with spoilers give it a speedy look and I am pretty sure that it would make ourselves zoom past the police if we need it.
I won’t say anything about the details because I have already covered it in the previous point.
3. Super gt
Who can forget Super GT, huh? I drove when we chased Dimitri’s goons sent to harass our friend Bernie and killed them. After that I roamed around the car and it looked ok. I thought that I should give it try and that I did.
The car felt so great that I was amazed by its handling. The speed was of course rivaling with other super cars, but handling made it stand out in front of the crowd. I repaired is multiple times, just to ensure that I had it for every single mission but I ran out of luck and without realizing (parking in front of house actually) and lost it in the chaos of the mission.
No problem, the car’s location was right around the corner so I just hoped onto one and noted down those locations in case I lost it again.
4 Sultan RS
Hidden around the back of a garage in Westdyke, Alderney, Sultan RS was a great racing car in GTA 4, no doubt about it. The handling was nice and it was good around the corners, not to mention that it was great to do long jump stunts with this car in comparison to other super cars in GTA 4.
We might see Sultan RS in GTA 5 with a different look and may be couple of tweaks in terms of handling and speed.
I would like to believe that Grand Theft Auto 5 could have a racing club or illegal racing arena or something, like we had in GTA San Andreas and it would make sense to finally include Sultan RS as a racing car.
Oooh! Banshee happens to be one of sexiest and fastest cars in GTA IV and the looks are nearly similar to GTA: SA’s Banshee, but newer looks and feels much better. This car is fast and good around the corners like Sultan RS and is better than Turismo, which used to overturn on high speeds.
It would be crazy to not include this car in the new game because we will definitely miss it a lot and then, we will be up to the mercy of some modding community to include the previous iteration (GTA IV’s Banshee) in the GTA 5.
But I want Rockstar Games to do these things because they have a numerous resources to tweak the car and make it better.
Did anyone saved Stevie’s Comet for later use? Well, I didn’t! By the time I won the race, Comet was in such a bad shape that I found a high jump stunt, brought my car with a great speed and just sit back and enjoyed the show as it blew up to smithereens before my eyes because it was already burning when I started the jump.
Comet was fast and jazzy but I didn’t like it in comparison to other cars and since I had to option to choose between so many of them, I never really gave it a second thought. Perhaps it will be in GTA 5 with new drapes and I would start to like it.
This car is included in this list because many gamers still like it and it is worthy since it is fast.
This car is so bad in handing the turns that, when I had to chase those Pavano goons in this car I nearly destroyed it the first time. So, I had to calm myself down while driving this car and hit a lot of brakes along the way. I controlled it pretty well after that and kind of made my peace with this car.
I would like to see a lot of tweaks in this car before I sit in this car once again.
It is obvious that we are going to see a lot of different cars in GTA 5 and they might feature some unique abilities like removing the hood (convertibles), opening the boot space, etc.
The graphics improve a lot when dealing with cars because they make them more personal and I hope that purchasing them is possible in GTA 5 because it would be cool to have that car with us throughout the storyline and beyond.
Of course this might sound weird to some gamers because if you can jack something, why would you want to buy it? But I think that I got my point across.
There were several other cars that need honorable mention like Sentinel, Turismo, Alpha, etc. I would like some cars from GTA: San Andreas as well like Hotring Racer and Zr 350. These cars were crazily fast and it would be fun to drive them again.
I hope that you liked this article and if you like to add something to it, the comment section is always open and I would be glad to reply you back.
