This is the second graphics card by Nvidia in GTX 600 series lineup and is aimed for budget restricted market. The card is fast enough to let you play old titles on highest settings and newer titles on low to medium settings.
It is based on GK107 architecture (like GT 640) and has 2 SMX clusters, giving 384 CUDA cores and 32 texture units, in comparison to GTX 650 Ti (768), GTX 660 (960) and GTX 660 Ti (1344).
Manufacturers have overclocked it to give you greater budget experience than the reference card; however, there is no need to get your hopes up because $109 card will perform like a $109 card.
The card is really small with 5.5 inches in length and 4.5 inches in height, and is perfect for small cases.
The reference card features 3 display inputs, i.e. 2 DVI-Dual Link, but you may find an additional VGA input with some card manufacturers. There is no SLI support because it has no SLI bridge and for $218 ($109X2), you can get yourself a significantly better graphics card from either Nvidia or AMD.
This card supports Nvidia surround with 3 monitors and 4th monitor can be connected in desktop mode. However, I hardly doubt that it would bring enough power to let you play games with 3 monitor setup.
Even so, you can play older titles in surround mode if you get fair frame rates, like Dead Space, Arkham Asylum, etc. You might have to dabble with settings till you get your games right, but it is good to know that you will have an option to play with 3 monitors for only $109.
Some newer titles are significantly demanding like Battlefield 3 and The Witcher 2, and it is not possible to play on medium settings. Low settings are your only option.
Some older titles like Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 3, etc. surprised me when I could increase the settings to medium, but customization is needed by using live Fraps fps counter.
However, playing on medium settings doesn’t give you a lot of room to breathe because frames drop below 20 more than a few times, making the gameplay lag and disturb our fun time.

Newer titles like Far Cry 3 and NFS Most 2012 will be playable on lowest settings too with some customizations on your side.
This card is easily for people who want a little taste of gaming world without spending too much on it. They can experience DirectX 11.0 at its lowest point and get the drift on how gaming world is evolving.
There is not much to say about this card except that it will not turn you till 2013. Games of 2014 are going to require a lot more horse power than it can provide. Exceptions may occur and you might be able to play them, but you won’t be able to enjoy them.
Recommendation for this card goes only for the fact that it is cheap, small and power efficient.
